Microsoft Word doesn't show updated references or edited output styles

When updated the references or editing the output styles, EndNote sometimes doesn't update the changes but uses the cache to load data.
To clear the cache, open Word.
Go to the EndNote X7 tab and click on 'Update Citations and Bibliography'
