How can I update EndNote to the latest version?

Windows:

There are 2 different options to get the newest update:
1. Start EndNote X9. A splash screen is shown where you can download and install the update.
2. Start EndNote X9. Click on the tab above on 'Help' > 'Check for Updates'.

Mac:
