When using the Sync feature you may see the following sync error "An error occurred while trying to upload the attachment(s). Please try again".
Please try to resolve the issue by emptying the "Trash" folder (Right click > Select Empty Trash) within your EndNote desktop library and your EndNote Online library, which can be accessed from here.
Then quit and reopen EndNote and try to sync again. EndNote may be able to connect and the issue should be resolved.
